I'm still around! Just haven't had much to say on the forums lately. Hopefully we get some good responses from that new thread you just started and we can modify the forums a bit. I have a few ideas.
On the plus side, I finally figured out how to access the Wildlife Society website via FTP and Dreamweaver! I got everything set up, all the files downloaded, and I'm ready start playing around with things so I can learn how the site is all set up. Ready or not, here I come! =)
See you all this weekend!!

The AZ/NM conference was a pretty good time. I ended up only seeing a handfull of talks that really hit me hard and made me think, but I am always so amazed at how many folks are actually out there working to help and understand wildlife. A lot of us were also burning the midnight oil, so to speak, and we had some pretty good jam sessions in a couple of the rooms. It was great to see you all there!

Good times, and blue skies ya'll! The conference was great, and the more I get to know of ya'll...the more I love!
I'll be out in the field this Thursday, so I'll miss ya for the meeting.

P.S. When's we gonna get to go fishin'?

Ok, I am back y'all! Did ya miss me!? Glad to see the forum is still alive and kicking strong...and man do we have a lot of new members!! That is awesome!! Welcome everyone...hopefully y'all will find the time to introduce yourselves and get involved with some of our chats!
The conference was great, except for the fact that I was sick most of the weekend...my apologies to anyone that may have come not feeling well! No offense to anyone, but Gallup is one town that I will never return to...I swear everyday there was something strange happening to us! From cops smoking and throwing their butts on the ground to paddywagons taking off with people in the back and the doors wide open to coming home with a res dog!
Eagle, too bad you cant make the meeting, they are never the same without ya! As far as fishing goes, I am going to organize a Society fishing tourney which will be held most likely at Ashurst once it warms up a little!!

Hey now what do you say! Sting man, it was a damn good anti-Valetines Day, don't you think. And I don't know what you were talking about.....you kicked some butt on the pool table. To all you folks who have a signifigant other, I hope Valentines Day was a good one, to all us single folks, I hope the beer tasted good!

Just a reminder that Friday February 25th is Stu Tuttle's presentation for his Masters degree, it will be held in the Liberal Arts lecture hall down on the first floor, but I'll have to get back to you on the time. But, everyone is also invited to come join Stu at the Zane Grey Ballroom in the Wetherford Hotel (otherwise known as Charly's), from 6 to whenever for a evening of festivites! The band Circadian Rhythms will be playing some music, there'll be food, and all you friends will be there so come on down!

Thaks to everyone who attended the first ever Circadian Rhythms Show! We called it "The Year of the Bat" Show, in honor of Stu Tuttle. It was a good time and we can't wait to do it again. A special thanks goes out to Stinger, Sparrowhawk, Megan and Molly for helping out with all the equipment. We couldn't have done it without ya'all.

It sounds like that show was a lot of fun. Wish I could have been there but I was down in Phoenix. =(
Also, I wanted to remind everyone that Crow is speaking on this Thursday night at the wildlifers meeting and it's sure to be a great time. Everyone show up and support him! ^_^

Yikes! Now I can't let you guys down! It was kind of a last minute thing, so I pray I am not too boring up there.....but, thankfully, it'll be a short presentation. See you tonight Kit!

You did great, Crow!!! Whoever wasn't there should be ashamed of yourselves and should consider watching Old Navy commercials for three hours straight as punishment.
