OK y'all, this one is more of a bark than a howl or growl! If anyone is interested or knows someone who is, some good friends of mine just found out today that they will be having another litter of puppies! They raise and breed champion German Short-Hair Pointers and they are great dogs! If I had a back yard I would definitely own one of their dogs, they are beautiful. So, if you are interested or you just want to check out their other dogs, please feel free to go to their website. It is www.desertrosekennels.com

Thats great . Did some new puppies just arrive? Well folks, 'ol Fred Bear and I hung out last night, and I got to tell you, it felt damn good playing some music again. Thanks for the awesome night man. Hey, you got to get Scott and Neil to join the forum, man. Stinger and Chromius, so was there any wood left out there at the Ranch when you guys left that morning? I can bring some in my truck if we'll need it. And Stinger, sorry its taking me so long to get everything ready to transfer to you for the Webmaster, I need a few more hours of work to do on some things and then it'll be ready to go. Are you coming to the dinner this Sunday? Eaglewoman, we have to get together and jam one of these days . FredBear, his friends, Sparrowhawk and I are ready to get a band going but we need a picker! :)Are you still having a party next week?

Ok I do not know if anyone caught this show on Discovery Channel, but it was pretty cool! The researchers are comparing a Mountain Lion to a Wolf, they made bio-mechanical replicas of each that match the correct dimensions and capabilities and are going to see which of the two is better. I will let you know who wins this battle of awesome animals! Tomorrow they are going to pit a Walrus against a Polar Bear! Now, Isaac should be happy about this, they are not using live animals in any way shape of form. Sorry, I had to say it, though he did have some some very interesting questions and I think needs to be more informed about our club.

Wow, thats pretty cool! Go Wolf! Yeah I agree with you about being better informed, but first impressions are important, and though I kinda, sorta see how he got that from the website, I just wish he would have read a little bit more about the club before he came to a conclusion. Hopefully he'll change his mind once he looks a little deeper into us.

Naw Crow, no pups yet but i will let you know so you can check out their site. They are beautiful dogs, I think my next dog purchase will definitely be one of their GSP's. As far as wood goes, I sent Dave an email, actually about the pups he might be interested in one, and in his reply he mentioned that he was gathering wood at the camp site for us! So, you and Fredbear jammed last night, eh? Hopefully, getting ready for next weekend? And Sparrowhawk better bring her dancin' shoes!

HA! Yeah, she will! Yeah we had a good time last night. Hung out till one in the morning! We had guitars, hand drums, harmonicas, flutes....even figured out a potental band name. Even if the only time we play is for the club around a camp fire, hell, that would make me pretty happy.
So you'll be there tonight?

Yep, 50. There are new title for every 50 posts. I was thinking about changing them to say other things, just not sure what. Any ideas? Ah man! The lion?? All right, I still got to go with my brother wolf though. And between the walrus and the polar bear.......whew, thats a tough one. Polar bear for sure.

Ok more numbers from the show, a 200lb Lion can run at 45mph and hit with an impact of 14,000 foot pounds and a 150lb Wolf can run up to 40mph and impact of 9,000 foot pounds. The Wolf is good for repeated strikes while the Lion is good for just one and then loses stamina! These are some powerful animals. A Lion can deliver a 120lb strike with just it's paw!
I would have to agree, the Walrus is tough but the Polar Bear should win that one!

OK last post on this subject....for now that is! The verdict is in! The Mountain Lion won this battle because of its claws! That, and the Wolf was alone! Round 2 is Polar Bear vs Walrus! LETS GET READY TO RRRUUMMBBLLEE!!!

Hey Stinger! Turns out Sara can't come and she said that 2 other folks can't come either, to the Officers Diner that is. So looks like it got screwed up again....which is a shame. Oh well, we'll figure it out. We're thinking we'll all go out to dinner right after the meeting on Thursday, then everyone will be there and no one would hopefully have an excuse. What do you think?

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea! I may have to take a re-test for Chm. that night but it is at 7 in the Chm building and I was planning on coming over after anyways. So, that should work! I would probably be there around 7:30 or 7:45 ish.
