Ok everybody, it appears to now be official. The change over is complete and I am now your new administrator/moderator. Crow, thanks for all your help with the change over and in the future with any problems and updates that may come up. You are leaving me some very big shoes to fill! I hope that I can continue the level of excellence that was left me. I think that this forum is pretty darn cool and I do not intend to change much, although if you have not already noticed I did change the rankings of the members. Instead of just new member I have assigned Arizona animals to the rankings, I hope you all like the change.

I sure you will do an excellent job with the website Stinger. I do like the idea of the rankings being identified by Arizona species. However, I like being an Aberts squirrel. When I am the master of posts, can I be The Super-Dupper Master Abert's Squirrel?

Speaking of Raymond Ranch, we again had a great time! Sorry to all of you that did not make out but I am know there will more chances in the future! Thanks to Sparrowhawk, Crow, FredBear and Anna for making it just as fun as last time and thanks to Mayra and Amanda for a new kind of fun this time! Though I do have to say and hopefully the others will agree, it was not quite the same without the chromius one! You were missed bro! And spreaking of misses, we missed the Bison this time, we could not locate them on Sat. and when Dave told us where they were on Sun. by the time we got there they roamed over the ridge! Oh well! There is always next time I guess!

I am one with the Buffalo...... Stinger, no way man, I think that you have a special conection with reptiles man, if anything it was probably all us noisy people around that made them stay hidden. Thats great that you were able to identify that lizard, you got a good memory for stuff like that. And chromius, you were indeed missed man, we came to the conclusion that the bison didn't show themselves because you weren't there to take pictures of them. Boy that was good times, I just wish I hadn't been so burned out that night, but the sweet tunes of old FredBear sent me into dreams and I woke up refreshed.
Eaglewoman, that party was amazing!! It rejuvinated my soul to be amongst so much love and music. Thanks for the memorable night. Circadian Rythms played their first gig on your living room floor and damn it felt good. Lets all do it again real soon.

Oh man, you guys have no idea how much I enjoyed your company, conversation, tunes, jives, and grooves! Most definately, we must do this again. How many of you will be around this summer to jam? I'll be taggin' and jivin' with the elk down in Payson about twice a week, and catching bats on the Paiute reservation a couple times a month, but I should be around most of the time. So I have individual comments for most of you: FREDBEAR: You jam like no man I've seen! CROW: Back in Black will never again be the same without your recorder solo goin' on! Stinger: Go Stinger, get your drink on! Sparrowhawk: Bust out with that washboard! And to everyone else...KEEP A ROCKIN! I wish I could go to the BBQ on Saturday. I already promised the Chief of Wildlife and Fisheries on the Paiute that I would do a fishing clinic for their kids at their local pond. So I'll be teaching kids how to bait/cast/catch/handle/release/cook/and eat trout. It's such a blast, but I wish I could hang with you all too. If for some reason, it should be canceled, OH YA...I AM THERE! Eaglewoman P.S. You are my new favorite folks!

[glow=yellow,2,300]CAN'T POST THINGS?? HERE'S WHAT TO DO![/glow] Hi everyone, Crow here, there have been some funky problems with proboards latley that stem from the server itself. One of the new ones is that you can log in but as soon as you try to post it will automatically log you out. This can be solved by going to the log in screen and check marking the box "Always stay logged on" (or it says something to that extent). Then you should be able to do everything like normal. Sorry about the glitches again! Some of you might not even be experiencing them. By the way, what's up with reading week! I have had an exam and 2 homework assignments already! So much for letting us prepare for finals..... Hope you all are hanging in there.....

Hey Y'all, I guess there were some problems with the forum and proboards, as Crow pointed out in the previous post. Sorry about the troubles! Crow, thanks for pointing it out and staying on top of what to do to solve the problem, you are the man!! I know what happened to reading week, I have a quiz and an exam this week, the worst part is the exam is on Thurs. and the following Tues. is the final for that class!! I hope everyone is having a better week, though I am pretty sure we are all in the same boat. Except of course for Chromius, so lets all hate him for the next 2 weeks, since he does not have any finals!! JUST KIDDING BRO!!! I know you wish you could be here with us too!!

Howdy Y'all! Watching Animal Face-Off on the Discovery Channel last night and it was awesome. They had a siberian tiger up against a brown bear. Did anyone else see it? Jaw Strength: The siberian tiger had the jaw strength of 1000 ft. lbs. compared to the brown bears 1800 ft. lbs. Wow! The bear had the ability to take 1 pound of meat into its jaws with one bite. Claws: The bear had much longer claws, but they had blunt tips, where as the tiger had sharper claws that caused, considerably, more damage. Total Impact: Leaping from a full run, the tiger had an attack impact of 33,000 ft. lbs. and I thought that was incredible until they proved the bear to have 77,000 ft. lbs. of impact. HOLY CRAP! I was pulling for the tiger, since I am a cat person; with the exception of domesticated animals in which case I love my dogs. Anyways, when they confrontation was simulated, the bear took to hearty blows from the tiger and a healthy laceration from its claws before he swatted the tiger and broke its spine. The mass of the bear allowed him to absorb the blows from the tiger and seemed quite unaffected. The biggest factor being that the tiger could not overcome the bears strength in order to score a fatal bite to the neck. Man, I love that show! Thanks Stinger for turning me on to Animal Face-offs.
