Anyone that wants to help the animal victims (mainly domestic) that were hurt in the hurricane can go to this organization: American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF)The AVMF supports Veterinary Medical Assistance Teams throughout the United States, including those stationed in the Gulf Coast. These teams are composed of highly trained veterinarians, veterinary technicians and support personnel, and are often the first to respond to animals affected by natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina. Your donation will provide treatment and aid to search-and-rescue animals as well as those that have been hurt or endangered by Hurricane Katrina.
